Registration is now open! The race is expected to sell out this year, so register early if you plan to participate. 

Returning for its 7th year in Grand County, the Never Summer Adventure Race will take place on July 16-17, 2022 and will be sure to not disappoint. In this advanced 24-hour race, teams of 2-4 will stick together to paddle, mountain bike, and trek their way on an unmarked course all while navigating map and compass. All or part of this operation is conducted on Public Lands under special permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.

RACE ACTIVITIES

Racers will navigate the unmarked course by hiking/trekking, mountain biking (dirt road/trail), and paddling.

TEAMS

Racers must form teams of 2-4 in order to participate.

EQUIPMENT RENTAL

Kayaks: The Colorado River Center is now accepting reservations for the 2022 race. Please email [email protected] to reserve your single or tandem inflatable kayak. Let them know you are doing either the 6hr or 24hr event. The cost includes PFD and paddle per person:

6hr: Single $45, Double $55

24hr: Single $59, Double $69

Gear drops open 6-10pm Friday, July 15th and 5-7:30am July 16th. Gear drops must be performed before checking in at Rancho Del Rio. See Race update #2

Check in time: 7-8:30am

Pre-race meeting: 9:30am

Race start: 10am

Rancho Del Rio in Bond, CO is the location for the race check in and finish. Cabins and campsites are available on a first come first serve basis. Please contact them at http://ranchodelrio.com/rancholodging.htm or call them at 970-653-4431 to reserve. Other lodging is available in Kremmling or in the Vail/Avon/Eagle area.

Cancellation Policy:
> 2 months before the race date we are able to offer a 75% refund

1-2 months prior to the race date we are able to offer a 50% refund.

3-4 weeks prior to the race date we are able to offer a 25% refund.

Less than 2 weeks prior to the race, no refund is available. We apologize for any inconvenience but at this point, we have paid for all race expenses and have been planning on you attending.
