The Rocky Mountain Adventure Series has ten very unique races for the 2021 season which take place across the Rocky Mountain region providing participants with varying course requirements and experience.
There are seven races which are between 4 and 8 hours. These races are great for new adventure racers, or anyone who wants to spend a fun day in the mountains. Families are welcome to participate and very successful at conquering these courses.
There are three 12 hour adventure races, which are more challenging than the shorter ones, but have more fun packed in them too. They are typically on challenging terrain and may have more difficult navigation. Managing time, food, and water are important in these longer races.
Finally, we have three races that are 24 hours or more. These races are for the hearty adventurer, who enjoys the challenge of overnight travel and navigation. Terrain will be a challenge and navigation is not easy on at least some sections of the course. These are great races for immersing yourself into the true art of adventure racing.
