GET INVOLVED WITH RMAS
As you can imagine, our races don’t come together without a lot of help — Any and all assistance is tremendously appreciated and comes with perks and benefits.
Each race has its own volunteering opportunities. These may include (but aren’t limited to):
- Pre-race setup
- Race check-in
- Transition area help
- Transportation driver
- Photographer
- Swift water safety
- Medical crew
- Load/unload gear
- Finish line shift
- Post-race cleanup
- Checkpoint retrieval
- Overnight gear watch
There are no restrictions for volunteering, but please do not volunteer for medical or swift water safety without certification and experience.
PERKS OF VOLUNTEERING
When you volunteer, your team will receive points towards the race series rankings, get the opportunity to meet racers and other volunteers interested in the sport, and receive discounts on future races (depending on the race).
