The NOMAD Adventure Race has not been permitted by the Forest Service, therefore, the race will be experienced as an “adventure on your own” event on June 4. Please email the Race Director for more details.
The NOMAD 48Hr adventure race is the longest race in the series by hours and miles. This will be the 5th year for the NOMAD, and participants can expect to ride on forest service roads and trails, trek around and over mountains, and brave rapids while white water rafting. This race will test your time management, navigation, sleep deprivation, and endurance skills. Additionally, it is early enough in the season, that you may come across some snow in the higher elevations. Register today!
If you feel you are not quite ready for a race of this level, you can still experience it by volunteering. With a race of this length, the more volunteers assisting the race director, the better the experience for everyone involved. Also, you will have a chance to talk to the racers, getting a firsthand account of how hard… or easy… the race is turning out to be.
